Over 43 years after the first Star Trek series hit the small screen (on September 8, 1966), a new movie reinvention, with an all new cast playing characters introduced in that original TV series, will make its big screen debut this Friday. Interestingly, not a single one of the actors portraying the main four characters in the new movie were yet born in 1996, and all of them are younger now than the actors that portrayed the characters back in 1966, as follows:
